Cancellation Policy: The Rule

The Dam Square Babes rule is short and consistent: a cancellation within 2 hours of the agreed arrival time, or a no-show, carries a 50% cancellation fee calculated on the confirmed booking price. There is no tiered schedule and no sliding scale. The terms are confirmed in writing over WhatsApp when the booking is accepted, so there is no ambiguity at the time of cancellation, and the full wording sits in our terms.

What the Cancellation Fee Covers

The fee is not a penalty: it reflects the scheduling, staff allocation, and preparation work that is already done by the time a late cancellation arrives. Specifically: office time to confirm the reservation, companion availability locked for the window, alternative requests in the same window turned down, any pre-booking coordination for overnights, events, or out-of-city travel, and for dinner-date and VIP formats any advance planning the office performs on behalf of the booking. In the final two hours the companion is usually already preparing or on her way, which is why that window carries the fee.

Force Majeure Exception

A force majeure exception may apply at the agency's discretion. The recognised categories are narrow and specific: government ban on operations (any legal or regulatory shutdown preventing the service being provided) and serious illness preventing the service (a medical condition that makes the booking impossible to deliver). Where force majeure is accepted, the cancellation fee is set aside and the booking can move to a later date. This is not automatic: each case is reviewed by the office over WhatsApp. Personal scheduling conflicts, minor indisposition, travel changes, or change of mind are not treated as force majeure.

Dutch Consumer Law: 14-Day Withdrawal Right Does Not Apply

Under Dutch distance-selling law (Wet Koop op Afstand / EU Consumer Rights Directive), consumers ordinarily have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance-sold services. That right does not apply to services performed on a specific fixed date or within a fixed time window: the date-specific-service exemption in Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code. An escort booking is, by definition, a service for a specific fixed date and time, which places it squarely within the exemption. The cancellation policy that governs is therefore the agency's own cancellation policy, not the generic 14-day withdrawal right. This position is confirmed in writing at the time the booking is accepted.

False Bookings: Reported

All false bookings are reported. This covers bookings made under a false name or false identity, fraudulent contact details, prank reservations, no-shows by clients who never intended to attend, and bookings placed with the intent to waste the companion's time or the office's time. Where appropriate, the agency reports the details to the relevant authorities, shares identifiers with other reputable Amsterdam agencies to protect companion safety, and retains the record internally against any future contact. Honest clients are entirely unaffected. This policy exists solely to protect the companions and the legitimate clientele who keep the agency operating safely and professionally.
