What ADE Actually Is
ADE is a five-day conference-and-festival hybrid: thousands of artists, hundreds of venues, sound from late afternoon through the next morning, a daytime business conference that pulls in label executives and tech founders, and a nighttime club calendar that runs effectively without a stop button. For visitors who have not been before, the scale is genuinely different from any other European event.
The relevant point for booking purposes is that ADE compresses everything. Hotels fill three months out. The best restaurants are booked. Taxi traffic chokes the canal belt from sundown to sunrise. The companions on our active roster get booked weeks ahead by repeat clients who plan ahead. This is not a week to leave to last-minute improvisation.
Book Six to Eight Weeks Out — If You Can
For ADE specifically, our recommendation is to begin booking conversations with the office by early to mid-September. Six to eight weeks of lead time gives us room to match a companion who fits both your week and the festival pace. By the first week of October, the most popular companions for ADE — those who genuinely enjoy the late-night rhythm — are largely booked.
This is more lead time than we recommend for almost any other context. ADE earns the exception. The pay-off is that the booking is locked in, the deposit handled, and you arrive in Amsterdam with one fewer logistical concern in a week that will have plenty.
Which Companions Thrive at ADE
Not every companion enjoys ADE-pace bookings. Some are dinner-date specialists who prefer a quiet restaurant and an unhurried evening; ADE week is the opposite of that energy. Others are specifically built for it — they love music, they handle four-in-the-morning club arrivals without missing a beat, they know which venues are which, and they bring an energy that matches the week.
When you message the office for ADE, say so directly: "Booking for ADE, looking for someone who is genuinely good in this environment." We will name the four or five companions on the active roster who specifically request ADE bookings every year. Browse the party escorts category for a baseline of who tends to thrive at this kind of week.
District Strategy — Where to Base
Centrum is the obvious base for ADE — most major club venues, most hotel inventory, shortest taxi rides at the dead-of-night peak. Companions reach you faster from anywhere in the city. The trade-off is sound, density, and the constant background of a city in festival mode.
Oud-Zuid is the contrarian choice. Twenty-minute taxi back to most venues, but a quieter sleep environment and a softer morning. Several of our most experienced ADE-week clients specifically base in Oud-Zuid for this reason: party district at night, calm residential street at six in the morning.
Booking Format — Overnight Works Best
For ADE specifically, overnight bookings tend to outperform shorter formats. The reason is structural: trying to coordinate a tight one-or-two-hour window inside the chaos of festival traffic is more stressful than it needs to be. An overnight gives you a companion who arrives at a reasonable hour, comes to the venue with you if you want, returns to the hotel whenever you do, and is there through the morning.
Dinner-date bookings that flow into overnight also work well — a long dinner in De Pijp or the canal belt, slow walk back through a city that genuinely does not sleep, the rest of the evening at your own pace.
Pacing — Survive the Week
The clients who genuinely enjoy ADE week — the ones who come back annually for five or six years running — pace themselves. They do not try to be at every venue every night. They book a companion for two specific nights of the five, not all five. They sleep one or two nights. They arrive on Monday rather than Tuesday so the body adjusts. They leave on Sunday rather than Saturday so the trip back home is not catastrophic.
We arrange bookings around this rhythm. If you tell us your festival plan up front — which clubs, which afternoon events, what energy you want around them — we can recommend the companion and booking-format combination that supports rather than fights the week.
After the Last Set — The 6 AM Booking
A niche but real ADE category: clients who finish a set at six in the morning and want company for the next three or four hours before they sleep. This works at Dam Square Babes — the office is awake, several companions on the active roster prefer this exact window, and the booking is settled by the time you walk out of the venue. It is one of the few times in any normal year when six-in-the-morning is a perfectly reasonable hour to book.
Deposits, Payment, and Confirmation
For ADE bookings, especially overnight and multi-day, we require a 50% deposit at confirmation. Deposits are payable by card, PayPal, Revolut, Wise, or cryptocurrency, with crypto settled in the time it takes you to read this paragraph. The deposit secures the companion and the dates; the balance is settled at the start of the booking.
For ADE specifically — because of the volume of bookings the week handles — we do not over-allocate companions. Each booking is matched to a specific person, confirmed in writing, deposit cleared, and held against any other booking attempts for the same window. The companion you book is the companion who arrives.
Begin a conversation with the office on WhatsApp as early as your ADE plans firm up. We will respond within minutes and have your week arranged before October arrives.
